Toronto Blue Jays have new way to entertain their fans: JAYS Shop at Sears Yonge & Dundas in Toronto has just opened.
The new JAYS SHOP, with 1800 square feet of retail space accessible from the street level on Yonge just south of Dundas, offers the largest selection of Jays branded apparel outside of Rogers Centre.
"With trendy, colourful and affordable apparel available, fashion-minded fans will no longer have to sacrifice style to show team pride," says Lisa Novak, Blue Jays Senior Vice President, Operations and Corporate Development.
This is the first JAYS SHOP to open outside of Rogers Centre and is part of the Jays overall merchandise growth strategy, reaching out to fans where they live, work and shop. It offers fashions from officially licensed suppliers of Major League Baseball like Nike, Antigua, Majestic, New Era and 5th and Ocean.
There are several new lines of street-wear and apparel designed to appeal to fashion-conscious women and men aged 18-35, as well as young teens.
