R&B star Sean Levert died at Lutheran Hospital on Sunday after displaying "bizarre" behavior.
Levert, 39, was pronounced dead at Lutheran Hospital just before midnight Sunday. Although an autopsy was completed Monday afternoon, no cause of death was determined.
Sean Levert was in the Cuyahoga County Jail awaiting transfer to a state prison after being convicted of being $85,000 behind in child support payments.
Cuyahoga County Jail Warden Kevin McDonough said Levert had begun displaying "bizarre" behavior Sunday night, and was placed under observation and restrained.
During a later check he was found "in distress" and was taken to Lutheran Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
TMZ has learned that Sean Levert was physically restrained by jail guards right before he died. Staff at the Cuyahoga County Jail told the online tabloid that Levert was "out of control" and "hallucinating," forcing them to place him in a restraining chair.
Judge Nancy Margaret Russo, who sentenced Levert, said he did not tell her he was sick, but warden Kevin McDonough said guards had been monitoring him because he was acting "funny."
Sean was the son of the O'Jays Eddie Levert and part of the Grammy-nominated band LeVert.
