Rapper Lil' Kim will be release from prison after serving 10 months for lying to a grand jury over a gunfight involving her entourage.
"I am thrilled to be coming home," Lil' Kim, 30, said in a statement. "I thank all my fans for all their letters, as well as my family and friends for all their support."
Lil' Kim will be released from the Philadelphia Federal Detention Center in Pennsylvania and will remain under house arrest for 30 days.
The Grammy-winning rapper, whose albums include "Hardcore," "La Bella Mafia" and "Notorious K.I.M.," began serving a one-year-and-one-day prison term in September last year.
Lawyer L. Londell McMillan suggested that Lil' Kim was being released early for good behaviour.
"She has accepted responsibility and handled herself in an exemplary manner," McMillan said.
Lil' Kim, known for her lewd lyrics, provocative wardrobe and a penchant for diamond jewelry, was found guilty in March last year on three counts of perjury and another of conspiring to obstruct justice.
