Kylie Minogue Plans a Glorious ComebackKylie Minogue plans Showgirl Australian shows at end of 2006
Pop star Kylie Minogue has announced plans for her homecoming tour, after it was cancelled when Kylie was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year.
However, Australia shows won't happen until the end of 2006, the Associated Press reports.
Michael Gudinski, the tour's promoter, said he realized that a year was a long time to wait for Minogue's show, but that the wait would be worth it.
"Kylie's been thinking about these shows a lot over the past months, and they're going to be something special," he said.
Kylie Minogue, 37, who resides in London, returned to her hometown Melbourne in May for the start of her "Showgirl: The Greatest Hits" tour when she was diagnosed. She underwent surgery in Melbourne to remove the cancer, before returning to London to continue her treatment.
Earlier this year Kylie Minogue dismissed rumors that she was seeking alternative forms of cancer treatment.
