Child star Dakota Fanning is looking set to appear in director Chris Weitz's follow up to last year's hit teen horror movie Twilight.

Dakota Fanning, 14, who is famous for her roles of clairvoyant kids in horror movies like Hide and Seek, is rumoured to play the sadistic Volturi bloodsucker Jane.

"I'm a really big fan of that series and the first film and all the actors in it," explained Fanning. "It would be wonderful."

 

"I mean, I think it's too soon to tell if I'll for sure be doing it, but it's so great," Fanning told Hollywood Access. "I don't think they'll put a lot of make up on me, I'm pretty white already!"

The sequel, named Full Moon, is based on a set of novels by Stephenie Meyer.
