Sigourney Weaver, the female action star when she appeared in the first "Alien" movie in 1979, is set to return for the fifth movie, reports thesun.co.uk.
Weaver said: "I would definitely do another 'Alien' film if I had a director like Ridley Scott and we had a good idea. Ridley is enthusiastic about it. If it happened, I would be happy."
The Ridley Scott is reported to work on Alien 5 as well.
Weaver is set to turn 60 next year but still wants to play the character Ripley in the movie.
She said: "It really didn't bother me being 50 and I don't think it will at 60 either. I really feel good every time I start a new decade. I think there could be another ten years ahead and I wonder what they will bring? The only thing that does bother me is how quickly time passes; the years are racing by."
"I have this New York attitude to life. I want it now - or yesterday. I am trying to be more mellow with age but it is hard to slow down. I have always liked working hard and being involved in a lot of different projects," Sigourney Weaver said.
"I always think it's important to keep going, at whatever age you are, at something which interests you."
