Jessica Simpson is reportedly in talks to play Melanie Griffith's Oscar-nominated role in 1988 movie Working Girl.

If the deal materializes, the Dukes Of Hazzard beauty will portray Tess McGill's character, the cute-faced secretary with dreams of being the boss.

Jessica Simpson is convinced the role is just perfect for her.

"It is one of the scripts Jessica is considering," Contactmusic quoted Jessica Simpson's representative, as telling the New York Daily News.
