Daniel Craig halted the production of new James Bond movie announcing he is unable to drive the Bond car with manual transmission.
Daniel Craig said he is qualified to only drive an automatic transmission vehicle and he could not handle the Bond's manual Aston Martin DB5.

The filming of upcoming "Casino Royale" remake had to be stopped while Craig learnt to drive the car. The Bondmobile has been specially shipped to the Bahamas set.
Despite the growing criticism, actors who played James Bond in earlier movies say that Daniel Craig is more than qualified for the role.
Roger Moore, who played agent 007 in seven of the James Bond movies, said critics should give Craig a chance.
"He's a helluva good actor," said Roger Moore, 78, "So why attack him?"
Pierce Brosnan has also defended his successor. "I think Daniel is a very fine actor," he said.
The fair-haired lumpy-faced Craig, whose recent screen credits include Munich and The Jacket, made his debut as the secret agent at a lackluster press conference in October. Hugh Jackman, Orlando Bloom, Evan McGregor and Clive Owen were also discussed. Clive Owen even reprised "agent 006" in currently released movie "Pink Panther."
