Mr. and Mrs. Smith’s debut is the best for Pitt and Jolie and was more than $10 million expected by the studio and industry analysts, USA Today reports.
Paramount Pictures had hoped to do better than $40 million. Mr. and Mrs. Smith costs about $110 million to make, Fox said.
