Star Wars Fan Film Awards will make its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival on May 19 - the same day that Revenge of the Sith debuts in theaters.
The 2005 Star Wars Fan Film Award ceremony, the 4th annual event from AtomFilms and Lucasfilm, was recently held at Celebration III. George Lucas himself selects one exceptional title each year to receive top honors.
Talantis Films, a leading Paris-based distributor of short films, is presenting this special Cannes screening, selecting 12 fan films based on their quality and their appeal to an international audience. The Star Wars Fan Film Awards will premiere May 19 at 11:30 am at the Short Film Corner at Cannes.
