David and Victoria Beckham were involved in a pretty bad car crash this weekend, according to iVillage.com sources.

David Beckham reportedly lost control of his BMW and crashed into a wall. This happened as the Beckhams were on their way to the airport, from their home near the French Riviera.

According to onlookers, the windshield was smashed and there was extensive damage done to the passenger side of the car, where Victoria was sitting.

 

But neither Victoria nor David suffered any injuries, and none of their kids were in the car, thankfully!

However, Posh was said to be "severely shaken up."

David was photographed holding a tearful Victoria in the car and comforting her.

Unfortunately, he had to leave very quickly to catch his flight to Beijing, where he was representing London in the closing ceremonies of the Olympics.
