Three men have reportedly been arrested outside Kate Hudson's home after police received a 911 call from a neighbor who saw two men trotting on Hudson's roof - one with a camera and one with a rifle.

According to TMZ, the three young men have been arrested but are pleading their innocence with cops on the scene.

The men are allegedly telling the police that they were simply shooting a movie (NYU is conveniently located just down the road) and didn't mean any harm.

The investigation continues.
