Romour has it that George Clooney, who recently starred in "Michael Clayton," is busy planning a summer wedding near his Lake Como hideaway.

According to a local in Lagio, the town where Clooney's villa is located: "They haven't made any announcement yet, but there are people in this town who know more than me. They say the couple is already engaged."

Clooney and girlfriend Sarah Larson were dating since June 2007, when Larson, a hostess at the Palm Casino Hotel in Las Vegas, served Clooney his drinks.

From there, Larson has quit her job and joined the 46-year-old actor in almost all of his trips, including Venice, Dubai, Miami and in Clooney's Italian villa.

A source confirms that the 29-year-old brunette has quickly adapted to the life on the limelight. "It's not often you get to mix with the likes of Matt Damon and Angelina Jolie - but Sarah has had that privilege and she's loving every minute of it."

Last December, the couple's engagement hit the news, when the two were spotted at various events and seemed almost inseparable.
