It seems that her song "I Love New York" is actually closer to reality than ever, as Madonna is reportedly moving her family from London to New York to be nearer her father who is battling cancer.

Madoona settled in England after marrying film director Guy Ritchie in 2000. She has recently being spotted viewing luxurious mansions in Manhattan, Daily Dish reported.

"Madonna, Guy and the kids are definitely moving to New York this year... The deal is to spend as much time there as in London, if not more," The Sun (UK) quotes an insider.

Sources claim Madonna wants a home relatively near her dad Tony Ciccone as he is undergoing cancer treatment in Leelanau County Hospital in Michigan.
