Gwen Stefani has given birth to her first child with husband Gavin Rossdale at a Los Angeles hospital.

Gwen Stefani named her son Kingston James McGregor Rossdale. The baby was born at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Friday, Gwen Stefani's spokesman Dave Tomberlin confirmed.

"Both mother and child are doing well," he added.

Gwen Stefani delivered the baby by C-section, US Weekly reported. The boy weighed seven and a half pounds.

 

Gwen Stefani, 36, married rocker Gavin Rossdale, 38, in 2002.

Gavin Rossdale already has a 16-year-old daughter from his previous marriage.

Delightful detail: Rossdale, who drove Stefani to the hospital’s maternity ward, “seemed a little nervous and checked the baby car seat before he got out”.
