Teri Hatcher has admitted she's thinking of having another child.

The actress says she'd even consider adoption if the right man doesn't come along soon.

"She's talked about having another baby for years, but the time was never right. Now that her career is at an all-time high, she says she's ready," a friend reveals.

 

Even Teri's daughter, Emerson, likes the idea.

"Emerson and I have talked about it," Teri Hatcher told USA Today.

"She wants it to be a girl, and I think she'd be a great big sister."

Teri Hatcher now stars as the single mother Susan Mayer on ABC's Desperate Housewives, a role for which she won the Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy Golden Globe Award in January 2005.

Teri Hatcher married actor Jon Tenney IN 1994; they had a daughter, Emerson Rose, in November 1997, and divorced in March 2003.
