Leonard DiCaprio was treated in a South African hospital over the weekend after suffering an injury while filming in Mozambique.
Leonard DiCaprio, shooting the film "The Blood Diamond", "sustained a minor leg injury" on set, according to his representative.
Leonard DiCaprio slipped and hurt his knee on Friday, but internal injuries were feared and a helicopter flew him to a Nelspruit clinic.
"He walked into the hospital grounds surrounded by bodyguards," spokesperson for the Nelspruit Medi-Clinic, Robyn Baard, told Reuters.
Leonard DiCaprio was seen by a doctor for some two hours on Friday before leaving.
"He received medical attention, and was back at work today (Saturday)," the actor's representative confirmed.
No other details were revealed about the treatment.
"It was a minor injury. He was running when it happened. We took him to hospital in South Africa because we just wanted to make sure he was okay, and that done, he is now back to work," publicist for "The Blood Diamond", Robert Harris, said.
"The Blood Diamond", directed by Edward Zwick and co-starring Oscar-winner Jennifer Connelly is due for release later in 2006.
