Lindsay Lohan is planning to take time out from her film career and help AIDS sufferers and poverty victims in Kenya.

According to contactmusic.com, Lindsay Lohan is set to fly to Kenya with the charity organisation One Campaign.

 

Lindsay Lohan is slated to visit local schools and clinics during the trip, although travel dates have yet to be confirmed.

A spokesperson for the campaign said: "As with Brad Pitt and other celeb visits, it'll likely focus on where America is helping make a difference to save and change lives."

Lindsay Lohan finishes working on the John Lennon movie "Chapter 27".
