Hilton hotel heiress and reality TV star Paris Hilton has been criticised by animal rights groups for apparently dumping her dog Tinkerbell because she grew too big.
Paris Hilton is drawing fire from PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) for dumping her longtime pal Tinkerbell for making her look bad.
PETA claims that Paris Hilton got a new teacup size Chihuahua called Bambi because it's slimmer and generally more lovable.
A spokesperson for PETA said "It's a pity that Paris' heart doesn't match her pocketbook. Animals shouldn't be disposed of like last season's trendy handbag.”
Paris Hilton has already been approached by PETA because her ex-maid claimed that Paris closed the dog in a bathroom while leaving a hotel suite. Really, what a shame.
TFM Opinion: When a dog grows older, it might be really hurtful for him to be carried around. We are pretty sure that Tinkerbell is much happier outside Paris Hilton's purse, somewhere on a beach in Greece or on a lawn in Hampton. Or in a bunch of other nice places.
