Angelina Jolie adopted a one-year old baby girl from Ethiopia, after visiting the country with son Maddox and Brad Pitt.
Zahara Marley Jolie is the newest addition to the family of Angelina Jolie, as the Hollywood star has adopted an orphaned baby girl from Ethiopia.
Angelina Jolie visited the Horn of Africa nation last week to file her adoption request. She was accompanied by her son Maddox, 3, and actor Brad Pitt.
"The paperwork has gone through. Miss Angelina's request was accepted last week. Everything has been completed, so the family can take the baby whenever they want," Hadosh Halefom, head of the state-run Adoption Agency, told The Associated Press. "If paperwork is in order, it can take only two days to finalize everything," Hadosh said.
Angelina Jolie met all the conditions for adopting a child from Ethiopia, Hadosh said. "Although she is a film star, she still has to meet the same requirements as everybody else."
In an interview to People magazine, Angelina Jolie said the girl would be named Zahara Marley Jolie. The baby girl is less than year old.
Angelina Jolie, 30, has already adopted one child, Maddox, from Cambodia. The actress told the magazine she and Maddox were "very happy to have a new addition to our family".
