His father Joe Jackson said Michael Jackson went to bed soon after reaching Neverland.
"Michael is fine. He's going to be alright. He's doing pretty good," Jackson's father Joe Jackson told reporters.
It is reported that Michael Jackson had lost weight and had not been sleeping or eating well. Apparently, stress is takings its toll on him.
"He is very relieved and he also is very exhausted. He feels wonderful about his family not having to undergo more of this," Thomas Mesereau, Jackson's lawyer, told the NBC "Today" show.
"He has to spend some time healing," attorney added.
When asked how the Michael Jackson reacted to the news of his acquittal, Mesereau said the pop star thanked him, his entire team and Jackson's family.
Michael Jackson said he was gratious to God and wanted to pray "for giving him the guidance and strength to move forward through this."
Mesereau added he believes Jackson will continue to be "a convenient target for people who want to extract money or build careers at his expense."
