Renee Zellweger and Kenny Chesney released the photos of their wedding on the Virgin Island of St John, where Chesney has a holiday home, in front of close friends and family.

Chesney jetted off to the wedding after performing in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on Saturday. He's expected back on stage in Little Rock, Ark., on Thursday.

The Bridget Jones actress wore a strapless silk off-white dress from American designer Carolina Herrera.

Chesney walked barefoot on the private beach and wore his trademark Stetson hat, which he wears when he performs.

Although Zellweger left Katy, TX, about 20 years ago, she seems to still have a passion for cowboys.

And Chesney looks better in a hat, anyway. We happened to see the photo of a hatless Chesney were taken when he was acquitted of disorderly conduct in 2001 after riding away on a police officer's horse.

Seriously, when you can write a song about a girl you secretly love, you can leave your hat on.
