Former Friends star Jennifer Aniston, who is of Greek descent, will be celebrating the luck of the Irish in Las Vegas.
Jennifer Aniston, 36, will spend her St. Patrick's Day, March 17, being honored as ShoWest 2005's Female Star of the Year, according to The Hollywood Reporter .
"Jennifer is an amazing actress who has entertained moviegoers and TV viewers alike for over 15 years," says Mitch Neuhauser, co-managing director of the event, which kicks off on March 14. "She is a multitalented actress who has the undeniable ability to entertain audiences across the world."
Other stars being honored include Hayden Christensen and Jessica Biel as the Stars of Tomorrow, "Maria Full of Grace's" Catalina Catalina Sandino Moreno as the International Star of the Year, Bernie Mac as the Comedy Star of the Year and "The Incredibles'" Brad Bird as the Animation Director of the Year.
Aniston's recent credits include "Bruce Almighty" and "Along Came Polly." She next stars in "Rumor Has It," a "Graduate"-inspired comedy by Rob Reiner.
