John Costelloe, the actor who played the gay lover of a mobster Vito Spatafore on "The Sopranos," has died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in New York.
Police says the 47-year-old actor was found dead in an apparent suicide at his Brooklyn home.
John Costelloe became famous in 2006 after played a cook Jim "Johnny Cakes" Witowski, the lover of gay mobster Vito Spatafore (Joseph Gannascoli ) on the hit HBO show "The Sopranos".
