Suicide Victim Was Obsessed with Paula AbdulDuring her American Idol audition Paula Godspeed said she’s an artist and the first picture she ever drew was of Paula Abdul.
The body of a woman found in a parked car just a few yards from Paula Abdul’s house in Sherman Oaks, CA turns out to be an obsessed fan of the American Idol judge.
Police believe that the suicide victim Paula Goodspeed might have been stalking Paula Abdul for a while now.
Goodspeed, who died of a possible drug overdose/suicide last night, overdosed in the exact same area around one year ago.
Goodspeed appeared on Season 5 of American Idol in 2006.
During her audition she said she’s an artist and the first picture she ever drew was of Paula Abdul. She did not, however, make the cut, after Ryan Seacrest proclaimed, “And the love affair is over.”
Apparently the obsession just kept getting worse from there as her car has “ABL LV” (Abdul Love or Lover) on her license plate and has pictures of Paula hanging from her rear view mirror.
Police sources told TMZ that they’ve been called out to Paula’s house a few times to deal with the stalker.
