Jennifer Lopez has signed with MTV for a reality series produced that follows dancers who try to succeed in the gritty world of show business.

Jennifer Lopez and her production company partner, Simon Fields, will executive produce the eight-episode series, "Moves," The Hollywood Reporter informs.

 

In something of a The Real World meets Solid Gold premise, the show will follow the lives of six aspiring dancers as they struggle to make it in the competitive world of professional dance.

Jennifer Lopez will audition and select the dancers to be featured in her TV debut show, and will also make cameo appearances as the show plays out, the Reporter revealed.

A premiere date has not yet been set, however, according to WIKIPEDIA, the show's eight-episode run is scheduled to kick off this winter.

In October 17, 2006, Jennifer López is to release her first Spanish album, titled Como Ama Una Mujer, and now she's also recording her next English album, which is said to be ska-influenced.

Jennifer Lopez was to make her first summer tour, which included countries such as the UAE, Bulgaria, Greece, India, Mexico, and Turkey, but that was later cancelled. Among the reasons was Jennifer Lopez' rumoured pregnancy.
