Teri Hatcher has reportedly suffered an eye injury whilst on the set of Desperate Housewives.

Teri Hatcher, 44, obtained the injury when a light bulb exploded. Hatcher told People magazine: "Glass lodged in my right eye and proceeded to scratch my cornea."

"I was taken to a wonderful eye doctor, and am now wearing a most glamorous eye patch over the right half of my face."

 

"I'm in some pain, but trying to see the humor in the oddity of it all. No one was at fault," the beautiful brunette added, according to E! Online.

Teri Hatcher should be back at work in two days time, but was unable to attend a party for the AmberWatch Foundation dedicated to prevent child abduction and molestation.

Teri Hatcher, who admitted she suffered from child abuse herself, is the new spokeswoman of AmberWatch Foundation.
