Tennis players Venus and Serena Williams are all set to star in a reality series on ABC Family TV that unveil the details of their personal lives.
According to E!Online, the six-episode series will feature the dynamic tennis duo "coming of age, as they find their place in the world outside of tennis," as per a release from the network.
Serena Williams said she and her sister welcome the chance to "branch out into a new medium".
The Venus and Serena’s off-court lives - their family, friends and the glamour of big-time tennis - will be featured in a six-episode show that is still untitled but set to premiere on the cable network ABC Family in July, it was announced on Monday.
The six-episode family-friendly series with Venus and Serena, which will launch in July 2005, will feature the dynamic tennis duo "coming of age, as they find their place in the world outside of tennis," according to a release from the network. The series will follow Venus and Serena around and unveil the details of their formerly private personal lives.
"The series will provide our fans with an up-close, inside look at our lives away from the tennis courts," Venus Williams said in the release.
Venus and Serena Williams have won 11 major single titles between them and are competing at the Nasdaq-100 Open in Key Biscayne, Florida. Serena currently is ranked # 4 in the world and Venus is # 9.
