Mariah Carey made husband Nick Cannon wait for two months before they first had sex, because she wanted to wait until she was a married woman.
Pop superstar wed rapper/actor Cannon in the Bahamas in April after a whirlwind romance.
Mariah Carey, who was previously married to Sony Records boss Tommy Mottola, insisted they refrained from "complete intimacy" until they had exchanged vows.
"I definitely don't want to push it on anybody else. But we both have similar beliefs, and I just thought that it would be so much more special if we waited until after we were married. And it was, and it still is," Carey told Daily Mirror.
"It's not that we had no intimacy, we just didn't have complete intimacy. It's just me, and my feelings."
