Angelina Jolie has finally broken her silence on her relationship with her partner Brad Pitt in her first in-depth interview about their relationship.

Speaking to Vogue magazine, Angelina Jolie revealed that she has never tried to intentionally break up Pitt's marriage to Jennifer Aniston.

Jolie claims "quite content to be a single mom" at the time, and that they were "the last two people" who were looking for a relationship.

 

Angelina Jolie also revealed that Pitt had come as a "huge surprise" to her, because the impression she had of him was based on what she had learnt from the media.

"Brad was a huge surprise to me. I, like most people, had a very distant impression of him...from the media. I think we were the last two people who were looking for a relationship," E!Online quoted Angelina Jolie, as telling Vogue.

Angelina Jolie also wants to set the record straight about being the "other woman" whose presence caused the collapse of Pitt and Aniston's marriage, and insists that she had never intentionally set out to cause its break-down.

"I didn't know much about exactly where Brad was in his personal life [when they met on the set of "Smith"]. But it was clear he was with his best friend, someone he loves and respects. And so we were both living, I suppose, very full lives," she says.
