Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn, who met on the set of a film in which they played a couple in the midst of a break-up, started their romance insisting they were just friends - and ended it on a friendly note, too.
Representatives of the Hollywood stars confirmed the break-up news, adding that both stars will remain friends.
"After Jennifer's trip to London several weeks ago, Jennifer and Vince mutually agreed to end their relationship but continue to be good friends today," John Pisani and Stephen Huvane told People magazine.
Both Jennifer and Vince were denying rumours of an engagement following the reports that they were meeting with parents, kissing, cuddling and even making wedding plans.
In October, British tabloids claimed Vince Vaughn, who has been in London filming the Christmas movie "Fred Claus" was caught on tape kissing a "mystery blonde" in London.
Vaughn denied the rumours and threatened to sue the newspapers. Few days later, in an interview with Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Aniston said she was still in love with Vaughn.
However, later that month, Vaughn didn’t attend Jennifer's Broadway debut as she appeared in New York's "24 Hour Plays." Jennifer Aniston flew to London at the end of October. After a few days spent with Vaughn, the former wife of Brad Pitt flew back to Los Angeles — now a free, single woman.
And it seems to be that Jennifer's new heartbreak was writter in stars. According to AOL Horoscopes, Jennifer Aniston's "Saturn is moving through her 10th House of Career" but Vince's stars indicate he "needs to move toward expressing his imagination through film, and Uranus is stimulating his desire to grow in this direction," reports TMZ.com.
