David Beckham and his wife Victoria, aka Posh Spice, secretly renewed their wedding vows days before holding a star-studded World Cup party. The "World Cup Party - Full Length and Fabulous" raised money for three charities including the Beckhams' own charity.

Just days before the party, David Beckham, the captain of English football team, surprised Victoria with a romantic poolside ceremony at their Madrid home, according to a British newspaper.

A close family friend says, "It was a very intimate ceremony witnessed by Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz."

 

David Beckham was dressed in white and said he had fallen head over heels in love with Victoria again.

"He wanted to renew his promises of love for her in front of their sons so he arranged the ceremony. Victoria said that David had tears in his eyes."

David Beckham married Victoria Adams at Luttrellstown Castle, Ireland on 4 July 1999.

The wedding attracted tremendous media coverage. Beckham's teammate Gary Neville was the best man, and the couple's son Brooklyn was the ring bearer. Newspapers were still able to obtain photographs showing them sitting on golden thrones.
