Tom Cruise says his love for Katie Holmes is stronger than anything he has ever experienced before.

According to The Sun Tom Cruise said: "She's just right for me."

 

Tom Cruise also said their first date was "the greatest day" of his life.

Speaking to GQ magazine Tom Cruise added that he guessed that Katie is pregnant before she even told him: "I just picked something up. I knew at that moment she was pregnant."

This short, yet very public love affair took a dramatic turn when Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes got engaged in Paris while on a world publicity tour for their two most recent movies (War of the Worlds for Cruise, and Batman Begins for Holmes). As a result, a poll in People magazine found that 62 per cent of readers believed the Cruise-Holmes affair was merely a publicity stunt.

On October 5, 2005, it was reported by People magazine that Holmes is pregnant. Tom Cruise came under fire from various medical professionals after he bought a sonogram machine to monitor his baby.

The birth would be the first child for both Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise although Tom Cruise has two adopted children: Connor Antony and Isabella Jane from his marriage to Nicole Kidman.

Allegedly, the last time she had been seen, Katie Holmes had flown to meet with Tom Cruise for a possible role in Mission Impossible 3. When she re-appeared, Katie Holmes stated she was in love with Tom Cruise and studying Scientology.

Katie is due to give birth to the couple's first child in the next few days.
