Rocker Marilyn Manson marries dancer Dita Von Teese in an ancient Irish castle in a small village in Co Tipperary.
The self-proclaimed prince of darkness married the burlesque dancer at a midnight ceremony in the gothic style with "children in makeup, dressed in these wonderful 19th century outfits, serving absinthe frappe," Marilyn Manson said, quoted by MTV.
Marilyn Manson wanted the wedding to be small, "because it isn't about that."
"I wasn't looking to just have some sort of exploit out of it — I wanted it to be meaningful and something to remember," Marilyn Manson said.
"But the remembering part's going to be hard, because you're supposed to get drunk."
Marilyn Manson is currently completing his sixth, as-yet-untitled studio LP.
Marilyn Manson was dressed in a a black silk taffeta tuxedo by John Galliano topped with a Stephen Jones hat. Curvy Dita Von Teese was wearing a royal purple silk taffeta gown designed by Vivienne Westwood.
The couple modeled for Vivienne Westwood last season.
Speaking of bachelor party, Marilyn Manson skipped it altogehter. "Dita said, 'Why should you have a bachelor party? That's you're whole life'," Marilyn Manson admits.
