The charity aims to raise money for children born with cleft lips in the poverty stricken region.
Jessica Simpson then plans to go on a safari with her father and personal assistant; but no Nick.
A spokesperson for the couple told, according to Softpedia: "Nick will be unable to join Jessica on the trip because of work commitments in Los Angeles."
The couple have been at the centre of a number of allegations that their marriage has failed. All allegations have been denied by the couple’s representatives.
