Hollywood power couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are now married and expecting their first child, their publicists said on Thursday.

Us Weekly reported that the couple tied the knot in front of family and friends on Wednesday at the Parot Cay resort in the Turks and Caicos Islands, the British colony southeast of the Bahamas.

Jennifer Garner was dressed in a cream colored empire waist, straight gown with a sea-colored sash, according to MSNBC. Garner is pregnant with her first child.

Access Hollywood has reported that after the low-key wedding the newlyweds spent their first night as husband and wife in the home of Bruce Willis.

Parrot Cay is a favorite getaway destination with the likes of Britney Spears, Julia Roberts and Justin Timberlake.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are staying at an ocean-front villa, complete with a plunge pool, four-poster bed and their own butler.

As opposed to Ben Affleck's previous relationship with Jennifer Lopez, which was extremely publicized, he and Garner opted to be media-shy with their romance. Aside from appearing at a Boston Red Sox game last fall and a few award ceremonies, they have stayed out of the public eye.

This is the first marriage for Ben Affleck – he and Jennifer Lopez broke off their engagement in January 2004. The marriage is the second for Jennifer Garner, who divorced actor Scott Foley in March of the same year.

In the media-frenzied world of romantic publicity stunts, it’s a real pleasure to see that some stars still have nerve to do it right.
