Jessica Alba will be a presenter on the 78th Academy Awards telecast, producer Gil Cates announced on Friday.

Jessica Alba will be seen next in "Awake" and starred recently in "Fantastic Four" and "Into the Blue."

Jessica Alba also starred in "Frank Miller's Sin City" and "Honey."

Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2005 will be presented on Sunday, March 5, 2006.
