Last year's Best Actor, Jamie Foxx, and last year's Best Supporting Actor, Morgan Freeman, will be presenters for the 78th Academy Awards® Presentation, producer Gil Cates announced today.
Jamie Foxx received his first two Academy Award nominations last year for his supporting role in "Collateral" and for his leading role in "Ray," for which he took home the Oscar.
Morgan Freeman received his first Oscar last year for his supporting role in the Best Picture winner "Million Dollar Baby." He has received four Academy Award nominations, his first in 1987 for his supporting role in "Street Smart."
Jamie Foxx is currently on screen in "Jarhead" and will be seen next in "Miami Vice."
Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2005 will be presented on Sunday, March 5, 2006, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland, and televised live by the ABC Television Network.
