Fashion Targets Breast Cancer Returns to Canada

Rethink Breast Cancer and Roots have teamed up on the latest Fashion Targets Breast Cancer T-shirt campaign in aid of breast cancer research.

The whole country will be hit by fashion consciousness this May when the fashion industry campaign - Fashion Targets Breast Cancer (FTBC) - returns for the fourth time in Canada to support the research and awareness work of Canadian charity Rethink Breast Cancer.

Fashion Targets Breast Cancer T-shirt will go on sale exclusively at ROOTS stores across the country beginning the 2nd of May. It will be available in two T-shirt styles - a fitted soft cotton and a classic men's tee.

The famous Target logo originally designed by Polo/Ralph Lauren for the first U.S. campaign in 1994 is also revamped by Roots with two new shades of green and a pink accent.

Fashion Targets Breast Cancer was inspired by Ralph Lauren and is now a leading international breast cancer fundraising and awareness building initiative.

Celebrities and fashion elite - Cindy Crawford, Kate Moss, Linda Evangelista, Daria Werbowy as well as Anne Murray, Nelly Furtado, fashion designers David Dixon and Joeffer Coac, among others, - are committed to supporting Rethink in its fight for more research into breast cancer; a disease diagnosed in over 20,000 women a year in Canada.

Limited edition Fashion Targets Breast Cancer Canada T-shirts are available at ROOTS stores across Canada starting on May 2nd.

Frankly speaking, these T-shirts look a little bit crinkly to us, but hey, style matters should step aside when we are talking about good cause! 50% of each sale will go for breast cancer education and research.
