Sources are buzzing that Tony Romo showed up for Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson's wedding because of the money.

 

That's right - even though he and bride's sister, Jessica Simpson, broke up days before the wedding!

People magazine paid over a million dollars for the exclusive pics from Pete and Ashlee's private wedding ceremony, a sum most thought was peculiar, Daily Blabber by iVillage stipulates.

TMZ.com says that the real story is that People really wanted the pics of Jessica and Tony (which is why they are also on the Ashlee wedding cover), and that Tony had to show for Papa Joe to collect.
