Another celebrity divorce turns nasty over cash.

Nick Lachey told Star that he plans to cash out big time if Jessica Simpson divorces him.

In fact, Nick, says close source of a tabloid, may even "threaten to write a tell-all book about his marriage to Jessica" if The Simpsons try to strip him of money.

According to another source close to Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson quoted by Star, Nick and Jessica never signed a prenuptial agreement while Nick Lachey was a "breadwinner" in 2000 and Jessica was starting her career.

The bottom line is, tells the insider, that if Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey divorce, Nick's lawyers will prove that Jessica would never become a star without Nick's support and that he is entitled to some of their assets.

However, Nick Lachey wants to keep things amicable. "He is worried that he will look like a bad guy," Star magazine source says, "He doesn't want to kiss and tell."
