Janet Jackson insists she does not have a secret child.
Janet Jackson insists she doesn't have any children that she knows of.
Speaking out after her former brother-in-law alleged she had an 18-year-old daughter called Renee, Janet Jackson has released a brief statement.
"I do not have a child, and all allegations saying so are false," Janet Jackson said.
Young DeBarge said on the air that his brother and Jackson, who were briefly married from 1984 to 1985, had a baby together. The child, named Renee, was reportedly raised by Jackson's eldest sister, Rebbie.
Janet's attorney says it isn't the first time he's been asked about the story, but is convinced his client and her family are telling the truth.
"The answer is no way, no how. From the sisters to the mother, every last one of them said it never happened," Brian Oxman told reporters.
Meanwhile, Janet Jackson is reportedly trying to get off the Internet a stalkerazzi video of her backyard sunbathing routine, MSNBC.com said.
