New Windows Live Messenger is treasure map to an advance peek at scenes from Walt Disney Pictures' upcoming film Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest.
What do Captain Jack Sparrow and 240 million people around the world have in common? They're all connected on the world's largest instant messaging service.
And for those hearty souls who want to set sail with a ghostly crew, the new Windows Live Messenger is their treasure map to an advance peek at scenes from Walt Disney Pictures' upcoming film Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, with exclusive access to Dead Man's Tale, an interactive online experience featuring games and puzzles that allow users to earn a berth aboard Jack Sparrow's ship, the Black Pearl.
Dead Man's Tale invites visitors to sign a contract to come onboard, get their sea legs and see first hand what's going to happen to Jack Sparrow and the gang along the way through eight exclusive clues that are revealed as users play along.
The first part of the story is single player, but the majority of the experience is two players. All you have to do is invite a buddy to jump right in and enjoy the action!
Those who make it through the tale alive will reap the reward - an exclusive clip to the movie, opening July 7.
