Star to outshine all stars, the first ever Haute Couture watch by Zenith is a Tourbillon set with 230 pure diamonds top Wesselton quality, totalling 9.8 carats.
Swiss watchmaker Zenith becomes the first watch brand to offer women the Tourbillon – the ultimate in watches.
Zenith Star Tourbillon combines two technical feats. The El Primero movement which heart beats at 36,000 vibrations per hour, enabling tenth of a second precision and the chance to wear a Tourbillon which, by enclosing the escapement within a carriage, releases the watch from the laws of gravity.
Zenith Star Tourbillon is done up in 18 carat white gold with an El Primero 4029 chronograph movement. It has a 50-hour power reserve and it beats at 36,000 vibrations per hour allowing tenth of a second precision It is adorned with 230 diamonds totaling almost ten carats.
The Tourbillon bridge is replaced by a diamond star, reflected on the crown, while the exquisite 40 mm case is enriched with 117 baguette-cut diamonds and 112 round diamonds adorn the dial.
The placement of the numbers is a bit distracting (the eight is truly gigantic) but the use of the diamond star is beautiful and it features some of the best use of baguette diamonds (both on the top and set into the sides) that overpasses this year’s watches.
What’s the price of the beauty? It costs 250,000 euros (approx. US$322,595).
