The ultimate supermodel Linda Evangelista has given birth to her first child on Wednesday, October 11, her agent Didier Fernandez told People magazine.

Linda Evangelista birth to her son, Augustin James Evangelista, in New York City. According to media reports, the father of the baby is an unnamed New York architect.

Linda Evangelista, who was born in St Catharines, Ontario, says she wasn't worried about motherhood or labour.

"I'm not freaked out at all," she said this past summer. "I embrace it. I believe I'm doing everything to go through this as smoothly as possible. I'm either doing yoga or exercising every day."
