Naomi Campbell denies she had attacked a woman in her New York home with a crystal-encrusted Blackberry, New York Daily News reports.
It's the first time Blackberry is being used as a means of assault. Throwing a BlackBerry is technology abuse, jokes Network World, and "putting crystals on a BlackBerry is also a technology abuse."
"Unless you're a 12-year-old girl, and then we're wondering why you have a BlackBerry in the first place," bloggers continued teasing.
Naomi Campbell was arrested at her home on Manhattan's Park Avenue, where the incident allegedly occurred earlier following "some sort of dispute" with the woman.
Naomi Campbell denied the charge. A spokesman for Naomi Campbell, 35, added that the woman allegedly attacked was the model's housekeeper and had just been sacked.
"We believe this is a case of retaliation, because Naomi had fired her housekeeper earlier this morning," the statement from JR Johnson said.
"We are confident the courts will see it the same way."
