German supermodel Heidi Klum and British-born singer Seal have married in Mexico, Klum’s father confirmed to German television station RTL.

Guenther Klum said the couple tied the knot and were spending their honeymoon in a luxury hotel in the Gold Coast resort of Manzanillo.

Seal, 42, performed a song at the ceremony that he had written for the occasion. He was accompanied by Hungarian violinist Edvin Marton, the bride's father told the Punkt 12 programme.

Heidi Klum, 31, is expecting her second child in August.

The 60 guests at the wedding ceremony included her one-year-old daughter Leni, whose father is Renault Formula One team boss Flavio Briatore.

Heidi Klum has been married before, to New York hairdresser Ric Pipino.

Seal, for whom it was a first marriage, has scored international hits with songs including Crazy, Love's Divine and Kiss from a Rose.
