Agent Provocateur Arrives in Canada

Agent Provocateur store opened in Vancouver; locations in Toronto and Montreal are due later this year.

Agent Provocateur - the sensual, stylish and saucy lingerie purveyor - celebrated its arrival in Canada with an after dark titillating soirée last night.

Agent Provocateur recently opened its first retail store in Canada at the heart of Vancouver's premiere shopping district, Alberni Street. Locations in Toronto and Montreal are due to follow later this year.

"We hope that Canadians will be seduced by Agent Provocateur's luxurious lingerie and accessories," says Joseph Corré, co-founder of Agent Provocateur. "Our store's are truly unique - blending intimacy and sensuality with fashion and glamour in a warm, colourful and inviting environment."

Agent Provocateur's lavish Vancouver store features an antique four-poster bed, charming bird cages and enticing "live" window displays.

Every guest's sensual journey began by experiencing a homage to Kylie Minogue mechanical bull ad that brought the world to its knees. In the red room, a lingerie-clad model, complete with crystal-studded leather whip, provocatively rode a velvet covered mechanical bull.

In the Agent Provocateur boudoir, guests including Gabrielle Miller, Emanuelle Vaugier, Josh Cooke and the cast from The Guard were invited to hop into the four-poster bed to be photographed for a sexy souvenir. Lastly, a playful 'behind the bar' tableau got pulses racing, showcasing a selection of the brand's tantalizing paddles, blindfolds and other accessories for a discerning client.

Famed for its groundbreaking creative marketing, Agent Provocateur's new campaign, The Adventures of Miss AP, features a series of three saucy stories accompanied by naughty illustrations and eye-popping imagery. Each season features a new Miss AP, a new story and a new exciting collection. The first book, Lessons in Lingerie, starred Hollywood movie star, Maggie Gyllenhaal, looking sexier than ever! The follow-up, Lady of the Manor, featured Catherine Bailey, famed model and wife of celebrated British photographer David Bailey, as Miss AP. In the recently released third and final installment, L'Appartement, beautiful French actress, Vahina Giocante, is an object of desire in a Parisienne love story.

Agent Provocateur was founded in London in 1994 by Joseph Corré and Serena Rees. They have since expanded with stores throughout the UK, America, the Middle East, Russia, Hong Kong, Europe and now Canada. In addition to offering the finest lingerie, Agent Provocateur also produces books, shoes, jewelry and fragrance and beauty products.
