US beauty manufacturer Klein-Becker has named fashion designer and television personality Isaac Mizrahi to represent its bestselling StriVectin-SD brand.

The move is part of a bid to sell the brand to men, the company said in a statement.

Isaac Mizrahi will star in TV, radio and print campaigns for the brand, as well as making store appearances and being involved in other live marketing.

StriVectin-SD targeted on men will debut in the US in October, and the brand is currently considering using Mizrahi for an international campaign too.

It is the first time StriVectin, which claims to be the bestselling anti-wrinkle cream in the world, has used a celebrity to endorse its products.
