In her one-time collection for Swedish fashion titan, H&M, Stella McCartney is showing her best: sharp tailoring, cool dominatrix-type feminity, voluminous tops and skinniest bottoms.
What a refreshing relief after all these billowy skirts, camisoles and grand-ma cardigans, let me add.
Stella McCartney for H&M basics play on the contrast of lean and oversize, with Stella's signature hoodies paired with tight jeans with ribbons - these are even more narrow than Karl Lagerfeld's ones, from the last year.
Real women will surely appreciate the fact that, Stella has included her signature wide pants with cuffs, too. Make sure not to miss these - the cut looks great.
Among other seasonal hot items are nylon trench coats, silk jumpsuits and shorts. Considering the modest H&M prices, you can take a little risk and experiment with these items. After all, it's Stella McCartney who designed them.

We also loved the effortless chic of white shirtdress - although we will probably wear one with pants or jeans. And a surefire hit is the line of washed silk dresses, in muted teal and garnet, with diamante details - just in time for Christmas.
"My one-time collection for H&M is pretty much like the pieces I do for my own signature collection," says Stella McCartney, "It is built around separates. Styling is the key."
